At Music Maker Theater for the Performing Arts we help every child get comfortable on stage, gain confidence to be in the spotlight (if they want), and make friends.
We also recognize that some children are shyer or just don’t like the spotlight. That’s why we offer a full range of courses that cover the technical roles that go on behind the scenes as well.
Our goal is to create amazing productions
that are entirely (or mostly) run by our students themselves!
From the on-stage performers to the backstage tech crew, every child can find their place, make new friends, and shine in their own unique way.

Boost Confidence
Public Speaking and Performance Skills
Performing arts classes encourage children to speak, sing, or act in front of others, helping them overcome stage fright and build public speaking skills. This regular exposure to an audience fosters self-assurance.
Overcoming Fear of Judgement
By performing in front of peers, children learn to cope with nerves and fear of judgment, gradually building a sense of self-acceptance and courage to express themselves.
